Troxerutin Description: Troxerutin is a semisynthetic flavonoid compound of rutin by
hydroxyethylation. With good biological activity, it is widely used
in clinical drug research.
Compared with rutin, Troxerutin is soluble in water, easy to be
absorbed by the human body and has better efficacy. As an improved
substance for rutin, Troxerutin has multiple pharmacological
effects and is widely used in cardiovascular, diabetes, and so on.
It is pharmaceutically used for the venous disorders, thrombosis,
and cerebrovascular problems.
Troxerutin has strong absorption of ultraviolet light and a good
antioxidant effect. It is used as an antioxidant and whitening
agent in cosmetics.
